2017-04-11: today I set up the monitor on the desk of my Bitraf office space. I used the HDMI-to-DVI adapter and a HDMI cable. When connected to my Toshiba laptop running Fedora, xrandr shows this:

2016-11-26: I bought a 127293 BenQ GL2460 monitor at the "black weekend" sale at Digital Impuls, for NOK 899.- I also bought a 116455 DVI-D to HDMI adapter for NOK 95.-, since this monitor doesn't have HDMI inputs. I also bought a bunch of network cables which was on sale.
