2022-12-24: ada0p5 - the internal interface was flapping up and down (and not passing traffic). Using ifconfig to set it down and then up didn't help, so in the end I just rebooted the firewall.

2022-12-13: ada0p5 - ddclient - I changed a parameter in the ddclient.conf file:

daemon=600                              # check every 10 miutes

it used to be

daemon=360                              # check every 6 minutes

but that doesn't make sense when the timeout is

timeout=480

which is 8 minutes. Then I restarted ddclient.

2022-08-07: ada0p5 - there was a syntax error in my firewall script, this prevented dhcp from working on the "wireless via Linux vm" on the Lenovo ideapad 530S.
