2017-03-16: testing - connecting a usb to serial adapter to my Fedora (F24) laptop which shows up as /dev/ttyUSB0, I try this:

nope. Oh well.
2017-03-16: power on test - connect 8 V DC (center positive) to the power lead, then test. without chips power on LED comes on. Insert chips, connect to VGA monitor and PS/2 keyboard - and get a screen from PockeTerm. Nice!
2017-03-16:soldering - soldered all resistors,RESET switch, power switch, IC sockets, crystal, transistor, C1 - C3 (0.1 mikroF), C4 (.01 mikroF - .01Z), C5 - C8 (1 mikroF tantalum) with correct polarity, C12 47 mikroF tantalum with correct polarity, D1 (red LED), DC power jack, DE9 seral connectors, VGA connector, PS/2 connector, voltage regulators, C9 - C11 (10 mikroF) electrolytic, jumpers JP1, spkr,
2017-03-16:Bitraf build night. Inventory: ok, only a few components are missing
2015-08-03: contents: 1 x PockeTerm Setup and Users Manual, September 2009, Revision 3, 1 x plastic bag of components + PCB. The manual seems to be the newest version.
2015-08-03: got a pick-up notice with my mail, and picked up the package from my local PIB (Rimi Trondheimsveien) after work. Had to pay NOK 263.- (NOK 140.- handling charge, NOK 123.- value added tax).
2015-07-06: I paid USD 30.- for the Zeta SBC 1.2 kit, and USD 30.- for the PockeTerm kit, plus USD 19.67 for shipping. A total of USD 79.67.
