2024-10-05: turned off Secure Boot in BIOS so I can boot FreeBSD again.

2021-07-20: I re-created this page on my self-hosted web server.

2020-07-31: the wireless network adapter in the machine is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377, it looks like this from FreeBSD:

2020-07-30: memory - the DIMM memory in the machine is a Samsung M471A5244CB0-CTD, which is a 4GB DDR4 PC4-21300 2666 MHz 260 pins, 1.2V, 1R x 16.

2020-07-28: bios - version 8PCN58WW (date 2020-03-26) is available. BIOS update - I used the (Windows only) tool to update the bios.

2020-07-28: getting into BIOS. Power off machine, wait 5 secs, press Novo button (you need a straightened paperclip), select BIOS from menu

2020-07-28: unpacking - the machine came in the original box (opened), with a erase certificate (paper sheet, A4). Contents of box: laptop, power adapter, warranty (sealed), quick start guide, erase certificate.

2020-07-27: I received a (paper) pick-up note in my mailbox, and fetched the package at PIB Extra Trondheimsveien. Tracking info:
