History
2021-08-21: I re-created this page on my self-hosted web server.
2012-09-04: Just doing one last uptime before shutting down and taking this machine out of service for now:
root@music2# uname -a FreeBSD music2.kg4.no 5.5-STABLE FreeBSD 5.5-STABLE #1: Sat Feb 9 19:00:36 CET 2008 root@music2.kg4.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/M2 i386 root@music2# uptime 7:58pm up 235 days, 23:15, 3 users, load averages: 0,00 0,00 0,00
That's it.
2012-05-07: I have moved the music server to a virtual machine, see v5 page. It is currently running Squeezebox Server 7.5.4 (squeezeboxserver-7.5.4_4).
2009-12-17: I installed Squeezecenter 7.0.1 (squeezecenter-7.0.1_4) from the ports tree, to support my new Squeezebox V3. It took a few hours to compile everything. After that, it found my squeezebox and updated the firmware on it, indexed my music library and is now playing. Nice!
2008-12-05: various info.
