2025-11-01: install data drives. Powered off the machine, peeled peeled off the four silicone plugs on the bottom, and unscrewed the four screws (philips head) so I could lift off the top cover. Installed the five Lexar NM790's in slot 1-3 and 5-6, remembering to remove the plastic film from the thermal pad. Each NM790 came with its own screw, I need to collect and save those. Put back top cover, screw in place and put the silicone plugs back.

2025-10-29: I got a pickup message, and fetched the package from pickup point Extra Trondheimsveien on my way home from work.

2025-10-27: the Proshop order was confirmed.

2025-10-26: from Proshop I ordered 5 x Lexar NM790 SSD - 4TB - M.2 2280 - PCIe 4.0 - Uten varmespreder at NOK 3090.- each, a total of NOK 15450.- (ouch).

2025-09-29: system drive installation. I peeled off the four silicone plugs on the bottom, and unscrewed the four screws (philips head) so I could lift off the top cover. Then I peeled off the plastic film from the thermal pad on position 4, unscrewed the screw and installed a WD Blue 1TB SN570 NVMe SSD I had laying around. Put the screw back in place, 2025-09-29: I created this page.

2025-09-29: unpacking - a small user guide, a power cable (the connector on the ME mini is the number eight / infity sign style) and a HDMI cable is included with the ME mini.

2025-09-29: I got a pickup notice (text message and email) and picked up the package at DHL Service Point Joker Thorvald Meyers gate during the day.

2025-09-25: value added tax and handling fee was NOK 546.- which I paid online at DHL's web site.

2025-09-25: the order was shipped.
