Asus V2-M3N8200 - Xubuntu
Hardware info on main page.
This machine used the amd64 version of Xubuntu for testing purposes.
The first sata hard drive (ad4) is sliced up as follows:
slice 1 - 116 GB - a FreeBSD install (currently RELENG_7) slice 2 - 116 GB - a FreeBSD install (currently 8.0-CURRENT) slice 3 - 112 GB - NetBSD (currently 5.0 BETA) slice 4 - 121 GB - Xubuntu (currently 8.10)
Because of Xubuntu, I have to use grub as boot loader.
Work log: 2009-10-31: upgraded to Xubuntu 9.10, using update-manager / upgrade. dmesg output: normal.
2009-10-31: upgraded to Xubuntu 9.04, using update-manager / upgrade. dmesg output: normal.
2009-01-22: installed Xubuntu 8.10 on slice 4. Added stanzas to /boot/grub/menu.lst for booting of FreeBSD (slice 1 and slice 2). dmesg output: normal. Output from lshw -short, lspci, lspci -v, lsusb, lsusb -v.
