apt-listchanges: News
---------------------

ant (1.9.9-1+deb9u1) stretch-security; urgency=high

Changes that could break older environments
  -------------------------------------------
<unzip>, <unjar> and <untar> will no longer extract entries whose
names would make the created files be placed outside of the
destination directory anymore by default. A new attribute
allowFilesToEscapeDest can be used to override the behavior.
Another special case is when stripAbsolutePathSpec is false (which
no longer is the default) and the entry's name starts with a
(back)slash and allowFilesToEscapeDest hasn't been specified
explicitly, in this case the file may be created outside of the
  dest directory as well.
In addition stripAbsolutePathSpec is now true by default.

firefox-esr (60.0esr-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * The use of `lockPref` in preferences under /etc/firefox-esr is deprecated.
Please use `pref("name", value, locked)` instead. `lockPref` will still
be supported for compatibility purpose until version 67.

try it. It starts, extracts, then says "Could not execute the executable file!".

2018-05-03: sdb3 - OK, the previous attempts reveals a bit of PEBCAK - I forgot to change boot mode in bios of the Toshiba. Setting boot mode to "CSM" (not "UEFI (Legacy)" or "UEFI") allows the winpe.img to boot. Unfortunately, the bios update program refuses to run in a 64-bit environment.
