2014-01-09: I installed sniffusb 2.0 on the machine,

2014-01-07: I installed drivers (including QuickScan application) for the Plustek OpticFilm 7600i on the machine.

2014-01-07: booted the machine into WinXP, re-registered Avast! and upgraded to latest program version and update files. The machine also ran windows updates which required a restart.

2011-07-06: I booted the machine into WinXP, ran windows update and updated Avast. It is now running Avast Free Antivirus version 6.0.1203. Nothing more.
