2021-07-26: I re-created this page on my self-hosted web server.
2014-01-11: today I found time to actually unpack the speakers. The packages contained the speakers, a laptop-style power supply, and usb cable, a minijack audio cable, a remote control (with extra battery - CR2032), a note about recertified, a quickstart sheet and some warranty papers. The light on the right speaker turns blue when you turn on the speakers, and red if you hold the power button a few seconds. When connected to my main workstation via usb, /var/log/messages shows:

Connected via analog audio cable the speakers play nicely. that is all so far.
2013-12-28: bought a pair of Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 (recertified) at Hi-Fi Klubben for NOK 1998.-
